At The Car Doctor, we have professional equipment that removes dents, scuffs, scratches, or even more serious collision damage to your car bodywork and we will always choose the least evasive and least expensive method for your car. Our aim is to repair collision or accident damage quickly and inexpensively and so we will choose the most appropriate dent repair method based on this.
We have a dent removal service as well for smaller damages to your bodywork. Our preferred method of dent repairs / removal is called P.D.R. (paintless dent removal) and this requires us to use specialised tools to access the panel in which the dent is located and use special tools to apply pressure to the dent to bring it back to its original form. However, this method is only used when there is no damage to the paintwork as the dent removal itself also leaves no marks on the paint.
Using our specialist dent pulling equipment we ensure most of the dent is removed leaving only a need for a light skim of fine filler
The bodywork will then be sanded, and the existing paintwork will be colour matched so that a respray can be performed, blending the repair in with the rest of your bodywork so that it is no longer noticeable.
The P.D.R. (paintless dent removal) technique can be performed extremely efficiently but even if we have to use filler, sand and respray your vehicle, we will still aim to have it ready for collection the next day from our fully equipped body shop in Milton Keynes.
